About this position
As a mechanic, you participate in the operational process of manufacturing machines and systems. You are responsible for assembling machines and systems correctly. You ensure that the quality of the final product meets the requirements and specifications. Performing and reporting on the final test is also part of your duties.
Functie description
Your primary tasks, powers, and responsibilities are:
- Assembly of subassemblies and complete machines.
- Assembly of systems and installations and mounting various components onto installations.
- Providing installations with piping for testing purposes.
- You are able to read technical drawings.
- Identifying (ordering) requirements according to the applicable procedure (materials, components, and tools).
- Acceptance testing and testing of machines, systems, or installations.
- During installation, assembly, and testing activities, you use drawings, diagrams, assembly instructions, parts lists, acceptance and test reports.
- Ensuring the disassembly and preparation of installations for shipment after the completion of the work order. Returning leftover materials to the warehouse, including bills of materials.
- Keeping the workplace tidy.
- Proposing ideas for improving the work and the operational organization.
- Supporting the Operational team in general with various activities.
- Taking over other tasks arising from the nature of the position.
- Achieving a perfect finish and checking the work against the highest possible standards of care.

This company is an experienced player in the field of systems used to liquefy various types of gases, such as nitrogen and natural gas. With more than 4,000 installed systems in over 50 countries, the company is a leader in every respect in the field of medium-sized cryogenic systems, which are regularly used under extreme conditions. The office and workshop are located in Eindhoven.
You can be employed directly by them on a contract basis and are therefore not seconded or deployed through us; in this way, you immediately become a real part of the team.
What do you bring?
- MBO working and thinking level.
- Extensive experience in assembly and installation.
- Good product knowledge (installations and systems, components and spare parts).
- Sufficient knowledge of various materials and manual skills.

- A salary between €3,000 and €4,250.
